Some fifth class girls had a lovely experience of attending an art workshop with Patsy Preston. Patsy is working with primary schools in Moate and Athlone and is creating a mosaic pathway in the park. Each of the girls designed their own mosaic concrete tile using stones. Each design was unique and the girls really enjoyed the workshop. We look forward to seeing the end product once completed. A big thank you to Patsy and Dun na Sí for allowing us to partake in this experience.
Niall de Búrca – Storyteller Visit
