Sports

GAA

Each class gets the chance to learn GAA drills and skill from experienced GAA coaches during the year.

There is also a football club coached by Ms. Bermingham and Ms. Kavanagh. The school participates annually in the Cumann na mBunscoil and mini 7s. Girls from 3rd class upwards can join the team. They train once a week and matches are organised during school time. We are so lucky to have talented football players on our staff who give their time willingly to the girls.

Dance

All pupils enjoy dance lessons with Sandra Julian. Sandra is director of the well renowned Dancezone. Her enthusiasm and energy is never ending and the staff and pupils all look forward to their dance lessons.

These lessons run for 10 weeks after Christmas. 6th class girls have the opportunity to partake in a local tournament in Spring. They join together with Oliver Plunkett BNS to form a team to compete against other schools in the locality. This has been a huge success for the 6th class boys and girls.
