On Friday the 9th of June 2023, Athlone Gardaí together with Westmeath LGFA and Westmeath GAA held their annual Athlone Garda Primary Schools Football Blitz. Pupils from nearby schools attended what was a very enjoyable and fun filled sporting day. The Sam Maguire even made an appearance!
Our school had two teams and one of our teams made it into the Shield Final against Coosan but unfortunately it wasn’t our day.
