We all enjoyed Wellbeing Week from 7th – 14th February. We started the week with an Assembly where the winners of the Wellbeing poster competition were announced. We also had a whole school discussion about Wellbeing and how important it is to be kind to yourself.
There was a variety of activities planned for the week including compliment jars, gratitude trees, mindful colouring, friendly walks and much more.
Highlights of the week included yoga sessions with Nicola where the girls practised yoga poses and meditation. Workshops were enjoyed by Junior Infants – 5th Class with Sandra Gaynor who explored relaxation techniques. Sixth class pupils enjoyed a visit to Moate Community School where they had the opportunity to cook some nutritious meals with Ms. Quinn. A big thank you to all involved in making these valuable experiences.
We all had a lovely week and realise the importance of our wellbeing.
A big thank you to Ms. Galvin and Ms. Rabbette for organising this special week.
