There was great excitement in St. Brigid’s Primary School today. We put the pens and pencils away and had a fun filled day of sports! There were obstacle races, egg and spoon, sack and three -legged races. We played dodgeball, volleyball and enjoyed the parachute and water activities. Some classes went on a nature trail using the local Greenway and all classes enjoyed learning some karate moves. At the end of the day we went to the secondary school to use their pitch where we had the final races, including the mammies and daddies races! Finally sixth class pupils took on the staff in a tug of war competition! They showed their strength and won! Well done sixth class.
