PA AGM October 18th 2021 Agreed Report

Attendance and classes they represent- Cathy Gillivan, Michelle Coghlan -6th, Lincy Johnson 5th, Clare Carroll 5th and 3rd, Lorna Brown 5th and Teacher Representative. Olga Doris 1st, Kelly Leshona Jennings 1st , Orla Flood, Sandra Julian Mellett and Petra Novicka – all jun Infants

Principal welcomed all and expressed her gratitude to all for their support during the past year. A special mention was made of the outgoing members of the PA who are no longer parents in the school. She outlined the support of the PA at Halloween, Christmas, World Book Day and with Science Workshops during the 2020-2021 school year and she thanked all for their response to the Child Protection Safeguarding Inspection survey. She outlined heating and window upgrades carried out to the building and acknowledged the purchase of a full set of I Pads for the school and the restock of our reading library. 

A financial account balance was provided.

The following officers were elected – Chairperson – Michelle Coghlan

Secretary – Orla Flood and Treasurer – Sandra Julian Mellet. 

The following activities were agreed upon for the coming year – 

Halloween Walk and Treats, Team Hope Christmas Shoe Boxes, Christmas raffle – (Exact format to be decided upon), Santa (Zoom probably), World book Day Easter knitted chicks fundraiser, Green school and Active Flag support, Music Workshops and Basketball.
