Lots of classes have been enjoying the Autumn colours and celebrating National Tree Day. There were lots of activities in classes including nature walks, leaf identification, leaf rubbings and art work. National Tree Week is organised by the Tree Council of Ireland. Each year a different tree is highlighted and this year it was the turn of the Native Scots Pine. Our school applied for a free sapling and it was planted at the back of the school.
