Local Author Visit

This week the Junior Classes met local author Terence Casey. He has written a new children’s book called ‘The True Adventures of Googly Eyes’ which follows the real life adventures of a pet fish. Terence based the story on the animals and garden at his home where he cares for hens, pigeons, budgies, canaries, guinea pigs and fish. The book is beautifully illustrated also.

He brought the story to life and introduced the girls and boys to some of the characters Googly Eyes meets on his adventures including Squeak the pidgeon, Hilary the canary and Biscuit the guinea pig.

We all enjoyed his visit and look forward to hearing of more animal adventures in the future and wish Terence the best of luck with his books.
