Grandparents’ Day and the Feast of St. Brigid

On January 31st, we had a double celebration when we celebrated Grandparents’ Day and the Feast of St Brigid with prayers, readings and song in the school hall, followed by refreshments provided by the Parents Association. Over 100 grandparents were present and the children were very proud showing them our school. Grandparents who could not be with us were remembered with photographs and in our prayers.
Many of the classes prepared Art Work and Poems about their grandparents and these were on display also.
