Extra Curricular Activities:

Sport The promotion of sport is an important part of the characteristic spirit of the school.

Football: Children are coached in Gaelic Skills and the school takes part in competitions organised by Cumann na mBunscoil, Iarmhi. Children also participate in Tag Rugby Coaching and leagues organised by IRFU. School leagues in Gaelic and Soccer take place during the last term.

Swimming: Swimming Lessons take place in last term for children from Second Class upwards.

Athletics: The school promotes athletics and pupils participate in county athletic meetings. School encourages all children to participate in local community games events.

Basketball: Middle – Senior Classes are coached in Basketball Skills. Sports for all Day: Sports for all day takes place in June. The emphasis is on participation, fun and enjoyment.

Music: Children from Third Class upwards attend Music Classes. School Band performs on different occasions during the school year i.e. Christmas Concert/ Carol Service, Confirmation, End of Year Concert.
