Thanks to the Parents’ Association for funding basketball coaching with Professional coach Paddy Mulally again this year. This is just one of the many events that the Parents’ Association fund and we are very grateful for their continued support in all areas.
There was a basketball tournament organised by Paddy for 6th class pupils in schools in Athlone/Moate area again this year, St. Oliver Plunkett boys combined with our 6th class girls to form a team. This team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and became the overall winners. This was a great achievement and well done to all involved.
We look forward to continuing our basketball sessions with Paddy with the support from the Parents’ Association.
